no muggle is no muggle, that's for sure. With over 25,000 finds in 29 different countries, 43 different states, and more than 1,400 counties, she is a well traveled cacher. She has looped her fizzy 12 times, filled in her Jasmer and both the found date and hidden date calendars with at least double digit finds on each day, and has a consecutive monthly streak of first to finds going back to 2016, with over 850 first to finds in total!
no muggle is not just a cacher, but also a Master Naturalist, helping to save natural resources in our area. Often she can be found helping Ridley and other sea turtles by patrolling the beach during nesting season, helping with stranded turtle rescues, and she even has a shift at the turtle hospital. She also delivers injured birds to the Wildlife Center on the other side of downtown Houston so they can be rehabilitated. All volunteer work!
But that's not really what this tribute is all about. Really it is for her being a good caching friend to me and many others. She has helped me find caches I wasn't able to put my eyes on, worked with me on many mystery caches, and has never turned me down when I have asked for help or needed someone to cache with. This includes spur of the moment first to find runs, and kayaking with alligators in December. One of them as big as the kayak!
I have learned a lot about geocaching from her and it's truly appreciated, so congrats to you no muggle for number 25,000, and here's hoping you find 25,000 more!
The cache is located off the beaten path on a popular walking trail, so please watch for muggles as you enter and exit the woods.
Also, it is near the golf course so be stealthy as you search and open/close the lid on the ammo can.
