BEAUTY IN DECAY
This is the ninetieth geocache in the “Beauty In Decay” series, which highlights abandoned objects that once had purpose and now take on a different life, left to ruin and decay in their current surroundings.

This geocache is on a public footpath. The land either side is owned by a farmer. Back in the 1990s, there was a private static campsite here, which closed down, and the static caravans got moved elsewhere, some to the nearby site of Streamside, Osmington Mills. You can still see the remains of the old toilet block, as well as a few wood cabins, of which the views from would have been stunning. At time of being published, these cabins are in the process of being renovated.
