This set of geocaches require to special pieces of equipment. The caches are accessible only by boat. They were placed by kayak. The hides are 15x95mm centrifuge tubes. The logs will generally need to be extracted with tweezers, hemostat, or something like needle nose plyers.
There are a number of places to put in on the lake for no fee. Waypoints are listed.
The distance around the lake as about 9 miles.
The caches were placed when the lake was at summer pool. Only a trinkle of water was running over the spillway. The caches should be accessible when the water is maybe a foot below the spillway or a foot above the spillway. A place to park and observe the spillway is listed as a waypoint.
Hint Nomenclature:

SYC= sycamore tree
Often, I can't Identify tree so I just describe them best I can. (If you are a tree person - let me know about any cache and I'll update my hints.
