Geocache Description:

Welcome to the New Entrance to the Arena! With works completed recently, this new entrance showcases the history and value this Arena has had to Palmerston North and the wider Manawatu region.

I'm just going to ask you a few questions about The Arena. All the answers can be found on the information boards or around the entrance at the posted coords, though some information is certainly more hard than others.

I hope you appreciate this walk through Palmy History! There's a lot of information on these placards that I didn't know beforehand - I hope you learn something too.

The cache can be found at S40 AB.CDE E175 VW.XYZ, where:

A=The Indian Army toured New Zealand, with a parde in Palmerston North attracing a crowd of 1X,000 people - double the population of Palmy!

B= What is the end digit of the year the new speedway pits were completed?

C=On the 1880s placard, the third digit of the topmost picture.

D = Lofty, who was remembered for playing bagpipes at the start of games, was born in 192?

E = A motocross and BMX stunt show kicked off in Palmerston North is 201?

VW= The end two digits of the year The Dominion Post wrote "All Roads Will Lead To Palmerston North

X=The A&P Association pushed for a college to be set up. What is the end digit of the year this College was established?

Y= X0 minutes of agony for the 25,000 spectators

Z= The last digit the Chinese University football team visited!

The end cache is a magnetic micro - not too far away at a somewhat similar location.
