Sept. 25 and 26. This day threatened rain all day long, but thankfully none occurred so we were able to get dry. About a third of the day was walking along highways into our destination city. it is definitely less fun to walk on the shoulder of a road than to walk through fields and forests. In the end, 31.3 km took us to. . . Burgos, Burgos, Castille y León, Spain. A rest day here gave us 13.8 km of exploration distance enjoying the cathedral, fortress, walls and restaurants.
Tall rubber boots are likely required for most of the caches. Some of the ditches are very steep.
