Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Farewell to Finder’s Fest geo-art, brought to you by the Forest Minions! This series celebrates weird and unusual things throughout the Sunshine State. Please do not go to the posted locations. Rather, solve the challenging quiz found at the bottom of each page, for the final location. For the letterbox caches, please leave the stamp in the cache. They are not trade items. For the discerning traveler, we’ve included the GPS coordinates for these bizarre locations, when we were able to establish them.

American Dreyfus – Location 28.5994, -81.3216

Grover C. Walker of Winter Park has never given up his protest against the government over an injustice done to him over forty years ago. Walker is a former army and air force intelligence officer who also served as a special agent for the Pentagon. Although his twenty-five year service record was always exemplary, Walker was transferred to a low level position in the military.

Walker believed his unit was corrupt, and threatened to report them, at which time he was deemed unfit for service, during a psychiatric examination. He became known as the American Dreyfus because his story parallels closely the 1894 case of Alfred Dreyfus, Jewish lieutenant in the French army, who as the result of a conspired political injustice was sentenced to Devil’s Island. After the case gained international attention Dreyfus was found innocent. Walker began his fight to restore his dignity, painting his house red, white, and blue, erecting eight flag poles, each flying an upside down flag as a symbol of distress, mounting a huge billboard on his roof, and published a pamphlet about his plight.

Here is the super duper, way challenging, really hard trivia question, which, if solved properly, will lead you to the final coordinates:

Question: Which critter produces urine which glows under UV light?

A: Pokemon = N29° 28.042' W81° 45.864'

B: Unicorns = N29° 28.032' W81° 45.864'

C: Cats = N29° 28.022' W81° 45.864'
