Geocache Description:

Growing up, the one thing I could count on was the Sunday comics. My favorite was Peanuts, and my favorite character was Spike. I've always associated Spike with cacti.

You're looking for a small lock & lock type container that contains (just barely) a log book, a stamp, and a stamp pad.

To find the cache, go to posted coordinates and locate a 12 inch (diameter at breast height) pine tree. The cache is about 15 feet to the northeast at the base of a smaller pine tree.

Please do not take the stamp or the stamp pad from this cache. As it is a **letterbox** these items must remain inside and be available for those people who are stamping their own stamp book.

Welcome to the Randall Family Park and Trailhead at the Northern Riverwalk. It includes a trailhead, 0.6 mile paved recreational path, playground, pavilion (with restrooms), plenty of open grass fields, and parking area. The park also includes a public art sculpture: “Dogs, dogs, dogs” by Birmingham Sculpture. Enjoy one of the most picturesque views of the Black Warrior River that the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk has to offer.
