Love Shack, a song by the B-52's, the song writers were: Cindy Wilson, Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, and Keith Strickland. There were other previous members of the band including Ricky Wilson who died of AIDS-related illness in 1985.
The B-52's formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976 and lasted till 2008, they had many hits, such as: "Rock Lobster", "Planet Claire", "Love Shack", "Roam", and "(Meet) The Flintstones". And were nominated three times for Grammy Awards: in 1989, 1990 for 'Best Pop Performance By a Duo or Group with local and in 1992 for Best Alternative Music Album.
