The best conditions for looking for this cache are Sunday to Thursday from 10 pm to early morning. Downpours, blizzards and other situations that depopulate the streets are also favorable. Do not pick up the cache when there is a high risk of muggling it.

Współrzędne początkowe wskazują budynek, w którym od lat 30. mieściło się kino Palladium. Podczas okupacji działało tu kino Helgoland – nur für Deutsche. Od 13 sierpnia 1944 w kinie Palladium wyświetlano kroniki powstańcze wykonywane na zlecenie Biura Informacji i Propagandy Komendy Głównej Armii Krajowej. Zdjęcia do kronik wykonywali przeszkoleni operatorzy. Montaż odbywał się w laboratorium filmowym na Powiślu. Co ciekawe, wszyscy zaangażowani w tworzenie kronik przeżyli wojnę.

Stworzono co najmniej 3 filmy. Pierwszy z nich miał swoją premierę 13 sierpnia, lecz był to seans zarezerwowany dla prasy. Premiera publiczna miała miejsce 15 sierpnia, a kolejne części kroniki były pokazywane 21 sierpnia i 28 sierpnia. Specjalny pokaz trzech kronik odbył się 30 sierpnia dla władz cywilnych i wojskowych. Seanse odbywały się, dopóki działała elektrownia na Powiślu, czyli do 3 września.

Jak wglądały pokazy? Nakręcony i zmontowany film był niemy i oczywiście czarno-biały. Pokazy nie odbywały się jednak w ciszy. Operatorzy puszczali muzykę z płyt gramofonowych, a komentarz do filmu na żywo wygłaszał reżyser filmu, Antoni Bohdziewicz. Wstęp do kina był biletowany, ale bezpłatny. Żołnierze, którzy akurat mieli wolne od służby, chętnie przychodzili zobaczyć kroniki.

Taśmy filmowe zostały zabezpieczone i zakopane, a po wojnie odnalezione i przeniesione do archiwum. W 1989 roku zrealizowano film, w którym obraz pochodzi z zachowanych taśm, natomiast muzyka i komentarz zostały opracowane przez jednego z pracowników biura oraz historyka – można więc uznać ten film za odtworzenie kronik powstańczych. The starting coordinates indicate the building that housed the Palladium cinema from the 1930s onwards. During the occupation, the Helgoland cinema - nur für Deutsche - operated here. From 13.08.1944, the Palladium cinema screened uprising newsreels commissioned by the Office of Information and Propaganda of the Home Army Headquarters. The cinematography for the newsreels was done by trained cameramen. Editing took place in the film laboratory in Powiśle. Everyone involved in making the newsreels survived the war.

At least three films were made. The first premiered on 13.08, but this was a screening reserved for the press. The public premiere took place on 15.08, and subsequent parts of the chronicles were shown on 21.08 and 28.08 . A special screening of the three chronicles was held on 30.08 for civilian and military authorities. The screenings were held as long as the Powisle power station was in operation, i.e. until 3.09.1944.

What did the screenings look like? The film shot and edited was silent and, of course, black and white. However, the screenings were not held in silence. The cameramen played music from gramophone records and the film's director, Antoni Bohdziewicz, gave a live commentary on the film. Admission to the cinema was ticketed but free. Soldiers who happened to be off duty were keen to come to see the newsreels.

The film tapes were secured and buried, and after the war they were found and transferred to the archives. In 1989, a film was made in which the images were taken from the surviving tapes, while the music and commentary were compiled by one of the office staff and a historian - so the film can be considered a recreation of the uprising newsreels.
