The 2022 WGA Spring Picnic will be held at Brunet Island State Park. A number of new caches will be placed at the event by comkelp, jodibee, tdschmidt and zuma!!
This park is on the Chippewa and Fisher rivers and offers more than 1,300 acres of scenic beauty and geocaching opportunities. Quiet lagoons and channels are excellent for canoeing and wildlife watching. The rolling landscape in Chippewa County is a product of the most recent Ice Age. For bicyclists, the park links to the Old Abe State Trail which runs from Cornell to Chippewa Falls. There is also a swimming beach and camping on site.
A daily or annual Wisconsin State Park sticker is required to enter the park.
