Geocache Description:

I love trees and particularly love trees that appear to be cwtched up together.

We are very lucky to have lots of trees amongst the houses on this residential estate. This is a lovely example of inosculation.

Inosculation is a natural phenomenon in which trunks, branches or roots of two trees grow together. It is biologically similar to grafting and such trees are referred to in forestry as gemels, from the Latin word meaning "a pair".

The cache: You might need tweezers to retrieve log. Please be gentle replacing and notify me if this no longer sits where placed as the tree might grow and no longer accommodate the placement

This is a straightforward cache and dash if you'd like it to be or park up at the suggested parking for Rockfield No 1 and stroll to this cache.

Enjoy :)
