Geocache Description:

This is an easy Kache for Kids, in a kid friendly location and a regular size container with a lot of kid related swag.

Here is some information about the location that parents can share with kids:

You probably did not notice that the name of this road to the cache was "Ferry Street." This is because this is the road that went to the ferry across the Chippewa River before the City of Bridges had built so many bridges. You probably did notice the 4 large concrete structures near the cache location and wondering why they were built. If you walk over to them, you will see that they point to the Chippewa River. This is the location of a one of the last ferrys across the Chippewa River. Have fun by climbing on the concrete structures.

Another important thing to learn while here, is how to interact with dogs. This cache is located inside the dog park, so other people in this park will be with their dogs. The dogs that come here, are supposed to have good social skills and not fight with other dogs or behave badly to humans. However, it is always a good idea to approach a dog slowly, and ask the dog owner for permission to pet the dog.
