Cache is in the colorful mountains/canyon near Jawbone Canyon Ranger Station. This is an old mining area. WATCH OUT FOR THE MINE SHAFTS!!!
Cookie nicknamed this place in her youth...it seemed like a wonderfully colored playground. When we placed this cache it was the first time that either of us had been there. We must go back and explore! Anyway...you can park on the west side of Highway 14 at N35 17.279', W118 00.951' by the cattle guard. It's about a third of a mile up to the canyon, but an easy hike. The cache is in a small cylindrical tin with a geocaching sticker on the outside. The original contents are:

UPDATE: Came back to check on the cache and explore the canyon...highly recommend the short hike up. The colors are beautiful!
