Ahoy Matey!
Legend has it that Captain Gingerbeard hid his coveted golden treasures in a chest nearby to this location.
Are ye brave enough to climb the tree to find the coordinates to the treasure? Or shall we have you walk the planks?!
***
I previously had a traditional cache here, but upon receiving permission from the homeowner (my father), I'm allowed to put a more elaborate cache on his property.
Stage 1 of this cache will take you up a tree searching for a green bison tube with green reflectors to get coordinates to stage 2, be sure to bring your monkey! Eagle-eyed cachers may not even need to climb the tree to figure out where the treasure is hidden!)
You'll notice that the SWAG/TB box is locked. Here's how to figure out the code to open the lock:
A. The first number is 3 higher than the second number.
B. The second number is 7 lower than the third number.
C. The third number = A+B+B
The first and third numbers are odd numbers!
You'll need a magnet to get to the logbook. The logbook is located in the " treasure map" above the box. I have included a magnet inside of the SWAG/TB Box but it's always good to bring an extra just in case the one on the cache goes missing!).
There is a lot of room for Swag and for Travel Bugs!
Please do not knock on the front door of the house. I personally no longer live at this address but still have permission from my father, the propety owner, to keep the cache there. He has nothing to do with the geocache and as such wishes to be left in peace.
Photos with the cache are perfectly acceptable.
This cache is great for kids/families!
At the time of placing the cache: the final cache container has a special gift for the FTF (inside the golden egg), a bunch of SWAG, a travel bug, a magnet to get to the logbook (hidden above container), a pen, and a bunch of golden mystery items. I will do my best to make sure the swag inside is "better than average" swag!
Congrats to MuskieMouse and 007KJY for the shared FTF! It was wonderful to meet you!
