As we wind down from London Calling 2021, it's time to give a little bit back and say our final goodbyes. As is tradition, this event is our post-Mega Cache in Trash Out Event. So bring your litter pickers and bags, and come along and be a Womble for a couple of hours, picking up litter on Wimbledon Common.
With thanks to the Wimbledon Common Rangers for their approval, and for their assistance in disposing of any collected rubbish at the end of the day. We'll meet at the coordinates near their hut for an 11 am start, but don't worry if you can't make it for the start, just feel free to pop along anytime between 11 am and 2 pm. Any and all assistance is appreciated.
Wimbledon Common itself is around 1,100 acres, so there's plenty of space to spread out and we'd encourage everyone to cover as much ground as possible. Feel free to look for some Wombles nearby, we've checked with Ms Beresford and she's going to ensure that the logbooks are a little larger than normal for the day.
Underground, overground, Wombling free
The Wombles of Wimbledon Common are we
Making good use of the things that we find
