This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
Krondorf Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran Church (Manger of Christ). Church closed in 1955. Render on stone structure with a corrugated iron roof. Now bed and breakfast accommodation, and part of winery complex. The area was first settled in 1847 by Germans from nearby Bethany.
Under the Nomenclature Act of 1917 many German place names in the Barossa Valley were changed; Krondorf was changed to Kabminye. The name Krondorf was restored in 1975.
The white plaque above the door has a reference to the book of Job 14.D and a year 1A6B. Use these numbers to find the final location of the geocache.
