North Cove Harbor Wetlands Sanctuary
This Pier/Boardwalk is a productive area for bird sitings. Very active in the fall and winter the species are indicated on 2 information boards located in shelters along the boardwalk that have benches and a wide railing to rest whilst using binoculars or camera. This geocache is a creative placement you will have to notice a difference in the structure to locate this one.
We would like to thank Aransas First for their enthusiastic cooperation and permission for placement of this cache.
Although this cache was originally placed along the boardwalk of the sanctuary, it has been moved to a new location across the street. There are still caches along the boardwalk and the walk all the way to the end where Green Heron was originally is still worth your time.
The new location pokes fun at "electric" vehicles. Please do not touch or search on the Studebaker. It is fragile after being out here all these many years.
