Eight is Great is our first cache! Our twins just turned eight which is the inspiration for the name of this geocache. This is a very kid friendly cache with swag to trade and room for a trackable. There's a log and a pen to leave your mark. This trail is a local favorite and is an easy, less crowded spot to access the south side of South Mountain Park. The cache isn't that far off the trail and the terrain is easy to navigate.
Always be on the lookout for rattlesnakes, scorpions and prickly branches. At night or the early morning hours, you may hear coyotes howl! After a rain, you'll smell the javalinas.
