LetterBoxing by the Hockey Pond
I really enjoy hiding caches in new locations, I mean parks and green spaces we have not been before. Milli (the BugFinding Pooch) has a doggie park cache, just down the trail. We were back in the area today, along with the Mrs., to see where this trail goes and what we might encounter during our walk.
Lots going on at this little containment pond. During the winter of 2020-21, with all the arenas closed due to covid-19, hockey players flocked in record numbers to any ice surfaces they could find. While hiding this cache, there was stil much evidence of the hockey season around, including broken hockey sticks, lost pucks, and an abandoned net still sitting on the thinning ice surface.
As for this cache, you are looking for a peanut butter container, hanging in a cedar tree. Hope that helps!
