This Cache is near Santee Saddle so you can get 2 for 1. Great view. Not to hard to climb or find.
This cache is called Boot Rock. You can see a rock formation that looks like a boot on top of the square cut rock as you enter the trail that leads to the cache. To get to the trail leading to the cache, come to the north end of Magnolia to Princess JoAnn. Park on Princess JoAnn at Summit and walk to the trails. There are several ways up to Boot Rock so take your pick. I am sure there's some interesting history about the cut granite slabs lying all over the place cut from the massive rock formation. Any information? The contents of the cache are: Rain Poncho, bumper sticker, Marine Corp Corporal patch, Foreign police patch(Canada?) fridge magnets, casino chips, earings, bottle openers, shells, ball, lego shark, George dollar, Foreign coins, indian beads, light, collector pin, flower seeds, and a lotto ticket. Please cover up the cache, because by the looks of some of the graffiti, there are some destructive teenagers that go up there. GOOD LUCK
