Geocache Description:

A bunch of roadside caches on the back roads in northeast Connecticut. All of the caches are above ground but it’s still not recommended to look for them when there’s snow on the ground. There are many places where you won’t be able to pull off the road because of snow piled up on the side of the road. Also, cell service is sketchy in places so having the caches offline is recommended if you're using your phone for navigating.

The caches are pre-form containers hanging from ZIP ties. They're also all on the right side of the road unless stated otherwise in the hints. The hints should be good enough that you might not even need a GPS except to get you into the general area.

Not many people like to spend a lot of time writing unique logs after doing a power trail. Short copy-paste logs are just fine unless you want to say something specific.

This series started out as a power trail with 161 caches. I then found out that geocaching is not allowed on Yale Forest property so I had to remove all of those caches. There's still plenty of caches left to keep you busy for a while though. Happy geocaching.

This cache happens to be in the Nipmuck State Forest so permission for the cache was obtained from the Connecticut DEEP.
