The San Francisco Bay Area is currently under "Stay At Home" orders to try to slow the spread of COVID-19. That's the bad news. The good news is that going outdoors and exercising has been deemed essential (allowed and encouraged) due to being important for our psychological well being and overall health. Who can argue with that?
This cache is located at the site of the now archived Wrong Gate geocache. It's the right gate for a little geocaching fun, though you'll need to find a different gate if you want to hike further.
Better yet, there are plenty of caches in Cull Canyon Park, to the South. And there are lots of caches to the North (you'll need an East Bay Municipal Utilities District permit to access most of them).
The closest trailhead for this cache involves walking through a horse pasture. Be sure to close and fully latch all gates. Keep dogs on leash while in the pasture. Dogs are allowed on East Bay Regional trails (but not on the nearby water district property).
So come outside and play! It's essential.
