This is not the Elf on a Shelf you think you are looking for. I found this Scouting elf in a cache a while back. I thought about making it a travel bug. But I think it works as a cache host. Please do not take the elf.
The elf not on the rock and should not be moved there. Just sign the log in the bison tube, put the elf back in its hiding spot, and move along.
Bring your own writing implement. The trail was very muddy when I placed this.
