The scout law has 12 points, and so this will be a series of 12 geocaches set around San Francisco. Each point of the scout law is a goal for every scout. A scout tries to live up to the law every day. It is not always easy to do, but a scout always tries. Were you in the scouts as a youth, parent or volunteer? If so, when you log into one or more of these geocache finds, it would be neat to mention where your unit was located, its number, and your patrol name. Happy Geocaching! There’s even a geocaching merit badge now. As for myself, I became a scout in San Francisco Troop 159 at age 12, was in the Flaming Arrows patrol and became a star scout. In time I became scoutmaster. All three of my sons became eagle scouts in T159.
A scout can face danger although he is afraid. He has the courage to stand for what he thinks is right even if others laugh at him or threaten him.
What makes this location special: Fabulous Lyon Street stairs used by many workout enthusiasts offering great views of SF Bay entrance including the Palace of Fine Arts.
