This spot offers a great view of the Greens from Mayo on south. On a clear day, a couching lion will make a cameo appearance between a couple of the nearer hills. The fields below provide hay for a couple local farms. Some folks sled down the embankment when there's enough snow.

Standing here, of all places I've been,
I can't help but think of dear Walter
Who lived up the hill across the town line
That you can't quite see from here for the hill and tall
Coniferous trees that block your view.
He was truly one of this area's all-time who's
