Having helped my kids with some of their school work, I can only imagine what it must have been like when parents in the 60's and 70's learned their kids were being taught "New Math". First the parents had to figure out the solution, then they had to figure out how to get the solution the new way. It must have felt like the teacher was playing word games with math. As Mr. Incredible says, "Math is Math!", right?
