If you are starting from Westmill, this will, for the time being, be the first cache on the Pootle, a circular route of about 5 kilometres. It is intended to be a mix of straightforward and more difficult caches so it can be done as a family group. Like all country caching, you have to be aware that everything is not necessarily friendly, and the challenges will vary throughout the year. Sometime you will have to face bramble and nettles, at others howling winds and soggy footpaths, so come prepared. The whole route is accessible to bicycles and strollers and is a great place to walk the doggle (we exercise our borrowed hounds along this route as it is free from traffic other than other dogs, cycles, horses and people).
You are looking for a black tube at ground level. There are brambles, so take care.
