Our family discovered geocaching by accident while on a "field trip" during Covid quarantine when we stubbled upon a geocache and researched what it was. It has since become something we love and wanted to pass along the fun. Bear Lake is a great place for families. There are picnic areas, a playground, trails and fishing. Fishing is restricted to juveniles (under age 15), seniors and those with disabilities. There is a paved trail around the lake. This geocache is not your typical cache and we hope it adds to the fun. This geocache is for daylight hours only but he does not like to be awakened in the light so beware! Getting to the geocache requires some bushwhacking but is not too far off a trail.
