Community Celebration Cache 2020
This cache is being hidden to celebrate 20 years of great geocaching. This fantastic hobby has taken me to wonderful places I never new existed and provided me with many relaxing hikes on adventurous trails around the world.
The container has been placed in Menomin Park located in the NE corner of the city of Menomonie. Menomin Park has many trails that are used by hikers and mountain bike riders. Enjoy your hike to this cache and stop, listen to the birds, watch the wildlife, and take in the smells of nature (if you come in August you might also get a smell of Lake Menomin).
To add a challenge to this easy to find cache, inside you will find a log box containing the log book. You will need to figure out how to open the log box in order to sign the log book. You will learn to open the box by turning knobs, sliding partitions, taking sides off, and various other simple moves. PLEASE DO NOT FORCE THE LOG BOX OPEN. IT CAN BE OPEN WITH FAIRLY SIMPLE MANIPULATION. I will check this log book periodically and if your name is not in the log book, I will delete your FOUND entry.
