Under a rock in bracken, barely 100ft from the road
A nice easy one for anyone who has struggled up to Tarren Memorial (q.v.). This is a good place to see Red Kites soaring over the hills and a short distance by car from the Tywyn terminus of the Tal-y-Llyn Railway.
Enjoy the scenery and peace of this delightful valley and if you want a walk less strenuous than onto the Tarrens, follow the track from the car park lower down the valley to the Bearded Lake (Llyn Barthog) - if you get a chance read about its haunting.
