Čezsoča je manjša vas, ki se nahaja v južnem predelu Bovške kotline, pod pobočji Polovnika. Leži na levem bregu reke Soče in je okoli tri kilometre oddaljena od znanega turističnega centra Bovec. Do vasi lahko dostopamo iz več smeri, najbolj glavna pa sta cestna dostopa iz smeri vasi Žaga in iz smeri Bovca. Čezsoča se deli na tri dele, ki so Dolenji, Srednji in Gorenji konec.
Čezsoča se v pisnih virih prvič omenja leta 1540. V vasi so se ohranile tradicionalne čezsoške hiše, za katere so značilne kamnite vhodne stopnice, odprt hodnik, kuhinja z visokim ognjiščem in prostorom za kotel, izba s široko zakonsko posteljo, poseben vhod od zadaj, kjer je bilo tudi stranišče ter ostalo. Na celotnem bovškem je edino ta vas imela posebne globoke vodnjake, ki se imenujejo šterne, iz katerih so vodo dvigovali s pomočjo vedra. V središču naselja se nahaja relief fronte v 1. svetovni vojne. V tistem času je bila Čezsoča popolnoma porušena, vendar so jo Italijani ponovno sezidali. V kraju že od leta 1985 v mesecu juliju poteka zabavno – etnološka prireditev Kmečke igre.
Vas nudi številne možnosti za doživetja, kot so kajak šola na reki Soči, obisk Doline škratov, vodene aktivnosti na reki Soči, najem urejenega prostora za piknik, družinski kolesarski izlet ob levem bregu reke Soče do Loga Čezsoškega, poletna osvežitev - bazen z naravno vodo potoka Slatenik, ki izvira 1200 metrov visoko in drugo. V neposredni bližini Čezsoče sta zaselka Vodenca in Jablenca. Vodenca se nahajajo ob sotočju reke Soče in reke Koritnice ter so poznana predvsem med ljubitelji kampiranja.
Čezsoča is a small village located in the southern part of the Bovec basin, below the slopes of Polovnik. The village can be accessed from several directions, the most important of which are road accesses from the village of Žaga and from the direction of Bovec. In the village, traditional Presoča houses have been preserved, which are characterized by stone entrance stairs, an open corridor, a kitchen with a high fireplace and a boiler room, a room with a wide double bed, a separate entrance from behind. where there was also a toilet and the rest. In the whole of Bovec, only this village had special deep wells called wells, from which water was raised with the help of a bucket. In the center of the settlement is the relief of the front in the First World War. At that time, Čezsoča was completely demolished, but the Italians rebuilt it. The place has been hosting a fun-ethnological event of the Peasant Game since July 1985. The village offers many opportunities for experiences, such as a kayak school on the Soča River, a visit to the Valley of the Dwarves, guided activities on the Soča River, renting a picnic area, a family cycling trip on the left bank of the Soča River to the Čežsoški Log, summer refreshment - natural water pool stream Slatenik, which originates 1200 meters high and another. In the immediate vicinity of Čezsoča are the hamlets of Vodenca and Jablenca. Vodenca is located at the confluence of the Soča and Koritnica rivers and is known mainly among camping enthusiasts.
