Kratzer is a nice 1,545m high summit close to the Hirschberghaus. The haus is open all-year. The summit can be reached by a mountain path either from Scharling, Kreuth or Bad Wiessee. There is a nice view to Tegernsee and the other peaks as Hirschberg, Fockenstein, etc.
I have "climbed" this summit twice this summer. The first stage was from campground Wallberg to the beginning of cable car to the Hirschberghaus and then 20 minutes walk to the top. Very nice trip with the extra view to the lake and surrounding mountains! I have decided to place the cache here and hope that you will enjoi at least as much as me. Happy hunting!
