The Mt Taylor Bush Walk is around 900m long between Mallard Ave and Bush Lane and winds through a natural bush reserve that is maintained by the residents of the area. It provides a very pleasant, peaceful walk and an opportunity to experience the abundant birdlife. The path is a limed, even surface except for the entrance off Mallard Ave which is a grass laneway between the sections. The walkway is undulating and quite steep in places as it winds down into the gully, hence the higher terraine rating. It could be slippery when wet, but I negotiated it easily with the aid of two walking sticks (being somewhat challenged with agility and balance!). As Bush Lane is a private access road, you are asked to enter from the other end and park in Mallard Ave or park in Mt Taylor Drive and walk down Bush Lane and enter the walkway by the signpost.

The container is held in situ by an anchoring mechanism, do not disconnect the container from that, simply unscrew to access the log. Be sure to tuck all snugly back inside the hide when replacing. You will need to bring your own pen. Happy hunting!
