This is one of several new caches at the Bryn Coed Preserve along St. Matthews Road near Kimberton. Bryn Coed is a beautiful preserve with various environments for hiking, enjoying nature, and finding a few geocaches. You can access this cache by parking in the main parking lot along Flint Road, whose coordinates are posted below. Along the yellow trail, you will make a short detour into the woods. This cache has been placed in accordance with guidelines distributed by the Nature Lands Trust and the location of this cache has been shared with both the Trust and the preserve manage. The following rules must be followed by all geocachers:
* Bryn Coed is a private preserve owned and managed by Natural Lands Trust, a non-profit land conservancy, www.natlands.org .
* Use good eco-manners when seeking a cache. All visitors should follow the principles promoted as Leave No Trace (www.lnt.org )
* Please adhere to posted guidelines including: dogs must be on a leash, park only in designated areas, stay on trails (except when accessing a cache near an established trail), etc.
* Practice Cache In – Trash Out
* This preserve may host regulated hunting during statewide archery and gun hunting seasons. Visitors should be made aware of the possible presence of hunters and should wear blaze orange during hunting season.
* When you log your find on geochaching.com report any blocked trail and abuse or misuse of an area, if any. This helps the preserve manager keep up with things!
