As we properly practice physical distancing and the concept of "stay in your bubble and don't break anyone elses" during COVID-19, we are home more than ever, likely channel surfing more than ever, and missing some of our fave things to do - such as watch pro sports.
So - if you are missing the fun and games of your fave pro sports teams, here is a fun little game using the names of many fave sports teams.
Upon finding each pro sports team in the word search, then notice that each letter has an "across" and "down" numerical value assigned. From there, you can use the values in the puzzle clues below to determine the final location of the cache.

A = The Down "S" in "Canadiens" subtract the Across "N" in "Bruins"
B = The Across "E" in "Bears" plus the Down "K" in "Packers"
C = The Down "A" in "Yankees" subtract the Down "B" in "Blue Jays"
D = The Across "E" in "Flames" multiplied by the Down "E" in "Oilers"
E = The Down "S" in "Buccaneers" plus the Across "P" in "Patriots"
F = The Across "M" in "Maple Leafs" plus the Across "T" in "Senators"
G = The Across "B" in "Cowboys" subtract the Across "N" in "Vikings"
H = The Down "S" in "Raptors" multiplied by the Across "B" in "Bucks"
I = The Down "D" in "Red Wings" subtract the Across "A" in "Rangers"
J = The Across "I" in "Chiefs" divided by the Down "D" in "Raiders"
The cache is a 250mL container, camo'd to match its surroundings, with a new travel bug just launched.
I would like to thank all geocahers for playing safe and making great choices during this global pandemic. I am also grateful for the continual announcement by our Chief Medial Officer, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, that it is good for our mental and physical health to continue to be active and enjoy whichever activites we can, maintaining all COVID-19 instructions which have been put in place. Played appropriately, geocaching can still fill that space in our daily lives.
Bonus prize: While the full list of sports teams do not need to be found to solve the coordinates puzzle, the first cacher to correctly complete all sports team finds, take a picture and send it via geocaching email message to me will get a coffee from me, the next time when we see each other at an event when this pandemic is over. :)
