SLO: Na hribčku z lepim razgledom na Trebenče in Cerkno, stoji cerkvica sv.
ENG: On a hill with a beautiful view over village Trebenče and city Cerkno is situated a church with a name St. Justus. This church has been on a list of churches in region Cerkljansko from year 1595. Most of the church has elements from Baroque, however in its core the church has some elements of Gothic era still intact. Inside there are three Baroque altars. When it was renovated, they discovered fescues from 15th and 16th century. There is a legend that a treasure is hidden inside the church, in the floor, near the entry into vestry. However, till today the treasure hasn’t been found, but the church itself is a treasure of some kind.
The church is an important shelter for bats. If you are searching for geocache in the summer nights, take a seat on a bench outside the church and observe their play.
