A tribute geotrail series to the musical Hamilton
Hamilton is one of the first musicals composed to draw heavily from the rap and hip-hop music genres. The musical features a bold colour blind casting of white American history. Hamilton has been described as being about “America then” as told by “America now”.
The cache is located alongside a bike path stretching from Caboolture to Elimbah. The path offers easy access to round mountain, saddle back mountain and Elimbah creek. You will find quite a bit of shade, a concrete bikeway, and a nice ride from Autumn to Spring.
[ELIZA]
I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight
We were at a revel with some rebels on a hot night
Laughin’ at my sister as she’s dazzling the room
Then you walked in and my heart went “Boom!”
Tryin’ to catch your eye from the side of the ballroom
Everybody’s dancin’ and the band’s top volume
[ELIZA AND WOMEN]
Grind to the rhythm as we wine and dine
[ELIZA]
Grab my sister, and
Whisper, “Yo, this
One’s mine.”Â
