This cache is placed at Highlands Hammock State Park
The park is open from 8 am until sunset, 365 days a year.
A state park entrance fee is required.
Ancient Hammock Trail
The Ancient Hammock Trail is a 35-minute walk through the oldest section of the forest, where you see a wide variety of plants and trees. Though this cache is not placed on the Ancient Hammock Trail - when you visit there you will see trees that are truly ancient - over 1000 years old. That is five times longer than the US has been a country!
