Let the Quirkiness continue :) with this Flippin' February event in Vint Hill.
It's partially palindromic - as long as we use standard American order of month/day/year and stick with a two-digit year: 02/22/20.
Our location today: the Farm Station Cafe (details below) in Vint Hill. Counter-service with actual food (not just snacks) for those who might be hungry. The first one here went well, so we are returning. Hopefully nobody will have car/battery trouble this time ;)
Theme:
Things that are even (the date is all even numbers). Things that *should* be even. Caches that you'd like to try even if you aren't sure how they'd go. Pancakes and changes of mind and gymnasts and other things that flip or get flipped. Some palindromes, if you like, although those won't be the focus (that'd be my 02022020 event).
Family, friends, mini-cachers, visitors, out-of-towners, newbies all welcome. Bring trackables to show off/share/pass along, puzzles you want help with, the usual.
Dogs are unfortunately (AFAIK) not allowed in the cafe.
No obligation to order anything but no outside food/drink, please.

It's a few blocks from the coffee shop where we've met several times. It's near but not in the brewery and near but not in the Cold War Museum (and is NOT the cafe associated with the museum; maybe we'll meet there a different day).
Seems to be wheelchair-accessible.
I do not know of any nearby public transportation. If locals know otherwise, please contact me and I'll add that info to the event.

WINTER WARNING:
Given that it's in February, there could end up being horrible (snowy/icy) weather or road conditions the morning of the event. If that's the case, we (CO & hubby) may not be able to make the drive (it's about 35-40 minutes from our house under ideal conditions). So if the road conditions are or are likely to be bad, PLEASE check the cache page to see if the event is cancelled.
