Cache is not at the posted coordinates!
This cache is located at the Smith County Welcome Center on I-40. This is the most visited Welcome Center in Tennessee, and is the only rest area in Tennessee that services both eastbound and westbound travelers, so this is easily accessible no matter which way you are headed. Be sure to follow the signs into the rest area instead of your gps as many maps mess up the routing here.
The Take a Rest in Tennessee Adventure Lab should take you less than half an hour to complete and will give you a chance to stretch your legs and take a break from the road. You must complete the Adventure Lab to obtain the coordinates to this cache. Your adventure can begin after downloading the new Adventure Lab app from Groundspeak. Once you have the app installed, begin the Take a Rest in Tennessee Adventure Lab, or scan the QR code down below.
As you progress through the stages of the Adventure Lab you will learn more about the rest area and surrounding area. Once you have completed all five locations in the Adventure Lab the final coordinates wil be revealed. The final is a nano in a typical location, I would have hidden something bigger or cooler for you, but we were limited by other caches, the cemetery and where managment wanted people to visit.
