Welcome to South Mountain County Park! You are looking for an ammo can off the Long Path. This cache is right near the path, so no long bushwhacking is necessary. Parking is available on South Central Highway and off Route 45 at Gurnee County Park. For more information on the park and for a map, please go here. I am assuming you came from Gurnee Park, and therefore you passed a really neat spot. If you came from South Central Highway, just go a little bit further. I know you're tired, but it isn't far and I think it is worth it.
This cache has been approved by the Rockland County Division of Environmental Resources and bears the permit number 052.
