This is a Letterbox geocache. Which means it may or it may not be at the listed co-ordinates. A letterbox cache pays homage to an older style of treasure hunting, called letterboxing which was played in the 1800s in Scotland. Obviously, they didn’t use GPS back then, but rather they used hints, clues and information for people to work out where they had to go. Inside a letterbox cache is always a stamp, this is not to be removed. As well as signing the logbook inside the geocache, the idea is that you also have your own logbook for when you visit a letterbox and you stamp your logbook with the stamp from every letterbox cache that you find.
