Please note the following: This Geocache, along with the other DLA2019 caches was placed with the intention of being found for the DLA2019 MEGA on August 17, 2019 @ 9am.

Terrain conditions may vary depending on when you attempt this geocache.

The Babcock Mill planing mill and basket factory is the last standing mill, of three, at this Odessa historical site. Known for its “Babcock Baskets”, you can see where John Babcock’s designed and patented basket-making machinery in the early 1900s. Built in 1856, this historical three-mill site once included a Woolen Mill (on Factory Street) and a Saw Mill. 

Go to the posted coordinates -- you will find a plaque here located on the north side of the mill. Use the plaque to solve the below:

A = The number of times the word "Mill" appears on the plaque. -1.

B = Year the mill was purchased by the municipality. 197_. -3.

C = Number of those titled as a "councillor" on council.

D = Date the mill was officially opened and dedicated to Roy Babcock. September 2_, 1985.

E = Number of screws holding on the "Corporation of the Municipality of Ernestown" seal.

Walk around the back of the mill (south side)

F = Number of hinged windows on the south side of the mill. -2.
