Prior to placement this farmland paddock went through a radical transformation into a wetland and series of retention ponds as part of the Cashmere Flood Protection work. The outcome is a spectacular new reserve complete with a 1.6km loop walking track, and if in the right conditions some truly magnificent relfections and photo opportunities.
Some wet feet may occur, depending on recent rainfall.
