My four year old is certainly an interesting one to hike with - with her it is certainly about the journey more than the destination. A bird twittering in a tree will almost always illicit an exclamation of, "My birdies are singing to me Daddy!" and passing any blossom is always sure to result in, "My need to smell the flowers!" and result in a quite often lengthy pause in our walk. A short time ago i identified these flowers to her as foxgloves - she has been well aware of roses for a long time. On our way back through that particular spot she exclaimed, "My love foxies and woses Daddy!" When I came across this spot today I simply couldn't help placing this cache for her!
