The game of Cribbage was created by the English poet Sir John Suckling in the early 17th century.
It is one of the most popular games in the English-speaking world.
The objective of the game is to be the first player to score 121 points.
Cribbage is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards, a few pegs and a board with holes bored to accept the pegs for keeping score.
It is usually played with two players, but variations can have three or even four players.

                            The highest score that a player can get is 29.

Card rank is Ace low through King high
Ace counts 1
Non face cards count as their actual value (2=2 / 3=3 / 4=4 / 5=5 / 6=6 / 7=7 / 8=8 / 9=9 )
Tens and all face cards count as 10

Points are scored for:

Combinations of cards totalling fifteen (5+Any card 10 through King / Ace+4+3+7 / 7+8 or 6+9 etc.)
Runs (2+3+4 or 8+9+10 / 4+5+6+7 etc.)
Pairs (3+3 / 6+6 / Queen+Queen etc / Multiple pairs are scored pair by pair 7+7+7 is actually 3 pairs)
Flush (Four cards of the same suit held in the hand count four points.
Five cards of the same suit (including the cut / starter card) count five points in the hand or in the crib.
Having a jack in the hand of the same suit as the cut / starter card is called nobs and scores 1 point.
