Yeti #026 - The Crossing Bridge (GC87YD6)

Welcome to the Yeti Trail around London Colney, this is 50 stage cache trail that can be done in parts over a number of days or as a loop trail all in one go. The trail will take you around the Village of London Colney set in the English countryside of Hertfordshire, located south of the once Roman city St Albans. There are a number of convenient free car parks around the village where you can pick up and leave the trail.

Directions

Continue on following the footpath, along the river, the banks can get slippery so take care. You will soon be passing under a large road and a white railing will be on your right hand side. At the other end the under-crossing there is another cache, (not part of this series) why not have a look around – an extra hint “paper, scissor, ‘STONE’. Continue along the foot path all the way to the bridge and the kissing gate, here is where the next cache can be found.

From the kissing gate, cross over the track to the gate on the opposite side, next to a large green tank. Walk through this filed with some pigs to you left, follow the right hand side fence line to another gate that crosses a small green bridge, cross over and turn left, through a larger gate, (the lock is broken) no wall down this path, with the river and lake both on you left hand side. Keep walking until you reach the GZ, and hunt for the cache.
