Geocache Description:

The prior cache in this location succumbed to muggle attacks and dangerous litter.  And it was time to recycle this location for a new cache anyway.  The new cache is not inside the store or any building.

This is not an Earthcache, but it is very near a collection of geologic crystals and treasures that will inspire your interest in geology.  Opening a geode is always exciting because you never know what is inside, and no one has ever seen what is inside that geode.

Geodes begin as bubbles in volcanic rock or as animal burrows, tree roots or mud balls in sedimentary rock. Over a long time (millions of years) the outer shell of the spherical shape hardens, and water containing silica precipitation forms on the inner walls of the hollow cavity within the geode.

Whole geode.

Magic inside geode.
