To claim this virtual
cache you will need to make your way to Whitney Pockets,
southeast of Mesquite, Nevada.
Whitney Pockets is a very
interesting rock formation along New Gold Butte Road a few miles
west of the Nevada - Arizona stateline.
Once you get to the area, the
coordinates will lead you to a small dam. You will need to find the
metal rod shown in the below picture. On the back of the rod is a
stamped symbol, letter or number. Using the geocache e-mail link,
e-mail me and tell me what is stamped on the rod.
You will have to climb steps to
the top of the dam and steps down the back of the dam.
You can see this rod as you stand on top of the
dam.
