Geocache Description:

This puzzle cache is NOT where the icon is! It is pretty straight forward. No codes. No secret messages. Mainly because I stink at puzzles and while there are lots of folks who get their jollies from having people rip their hair out, I’m not one of those types. This cache is for those car lovers out there. So, do some homework and you’ll be rewarded! Please hunt during daylight hours only. Cache placed with permission.

Who can forget the slogan, “There is no Substitute?” Porsche has lots of witty slogans but you don’t see them anymore. They have long since vanished along with the scotch and cigarette ads popular in magazines in the 1970’s. 'There is no Substitute' was out long before Tom Cruise used it in, 'Risky Business'. Remember, the cache is not where you see it on the map. Answer the questions below to get the missing coordinates. Some questions are easy, others might take a little digging. Please hunt during daylight hours only. Watch for muggles. Once you know where to look, should be a quick one. Room for TB's and trinkets. I have stuffed some special trinkets inside. You'll have to find the cache to snag one.

A. Pull up YouTube and search for this video: “70 years Porsche Sport Cars- Celebration Film”. In this video, count the number of times you can clearly see a Porsche Macan.

B. What is the firing order of a 1988 911 Carrera? Plug the numbers into this formula.

   X-X+X+X-X+X=?

C. From 1993 to 1995 Porsche produced a clubsport version of the 968 for track enthusiasts. How many colors were available for it? Take this number and add 1 to it.

D. When Porsche coined the famous phrase, “there is no substitute”, it was advertising a certain 1970’s model year. How many 911 Porsche models were available for sale in the US in that model year?

E. What year was the first turbocharged 911 introduced? 1. 1975, 2. 1974, 3. 1979, 4. 1978

F. The 911 won it's first internationally sanctioned race in 1966 at the 24 hours at Daytona. What was the racing number on that car? 1. 21 2. 18 3. 70 4. 59

G. The 971, 2nd generation Panamera has a PDK automatic transmission. How many speed is it?
